A
skilled glass artist since 1987, Ed Kozlowski, Jr. brings
more than 15 years of experience to his glass creations.
He brings a sense of adventure and a joy of discovery into
the mysteries of his glass artistry. His fascination with
the medium began in his 30’s when he first learned the art
of stained glass, which he mastered yet outgrew. His
dream was to work with glass in its powerful, unpredictable,
molten state. He fulfilled his true calling under the
mentorship of nationally recognized hot glass artist Chuck
Boux. Ed is currently working with a Romanian master
glassblower with 33 years experience.
Today,
Ed Kozlowski’s Budda Belly Glass Studio produces works of
art that range from solid to hand-blown, and which have found
a following of collectors from across the country to around
the globe. His work is exhibited and sold at the Charles
Hosmer Morse Tiffany Gallery (Winter Park, FL), The
Bergstrom/Mahler Museum (Neenah, WI), Walt Disney World (Orlando,
FL) and also with L.H. Selman, LTD. (California) among many
other prestigious locales. Galleries throughout the
United States, Canada, Germany, the Far East to South Africa
carry glass art created by Ed Kozlowski, Jr. Ed is also
an award winner at a number of fine Art Festivals.
Ed
Kozlowski, Jr. was born in 1947 in Carlisle, PA and grew up
as a small child in Gilbert, PA, a farming village in the
Pocono Mountains. After traveling around the world twice
as a crewmember (baker) onboard the U.S.S. Belknap DLG-26
a Guided Missile Cruiser while in the U.S. Navy in the mid
1960’s, he moved to Florida in 1984. He is a member
of Florida Craftsman, The Glass Art Society and the Paperweight
Collectors Association. Ed and his wife Bonnie work
and live in Pinellas Park, Florida
